Gods House Tower, Southampton
Interpretive planning and design
HLF Round 2 application completed November 2014, approved
Overall budget £2m – Interpretation budget £100k
Gods House Tower, is a building at the heart of Southampton’s historic city, it is being transformed into a new arts and heritage venue. In June 2014 we were appointed to develop a HLF Round 2 application for God’s House Tower Southampton.
As part of the works proposed for this transformation, interpretive elements are to complement the other activities that take place within the building, engaging all who visit the site. The interpretive interventions will inclusively provide historical and educational information for both local and visiting audiences. The HLF application has since been approved.
